For any one who has followed Susan Ward's career from her performance in Sunset Beach, the last few years have vindicated the hours spent watching an otherwise 'dodgy' daytime soap.
Born 15th April 1976 in Louisiana, fond of sick cats and mutts, a veterinary leaning was soon dispensed with when she was found to be quite pretty and was signed up to a modelling agency.
She did her time in 'All My Children' and
'Malibu Shores' before landing up in 'Sunset Beach'. As Meg, she played a Kansas girl
looking for a new life in California. Along with Clive Robertson (erstwhile star of
a chewing gum advert) she became one of the shows stars in an on-off,
psychotic-twin-brother-imprisons-real-partner-seduces-girlfriend type of relationship.
Sunset Beach, like Malibu Shores before it, was cancelled leaving Susan to earn her crust in little-seen movies and magazine shoots. Still, a limp-legged dog and slightly manky cat's loss is our gain.
